World Slasher Cup second round today
Local and international cockers gear up for battle in the second round elims of 2019 World Slasher Cup 9 -Cock Invitational Derby today, Jan. 29, at the historic Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Spearheaded by Pintakasi of Champions, the WSC 1 had an explosive opening yesterday with the all-out support of sponsors Thunderbird, Emperador and Powertrac, as well as Pitgames Media CEO Manny Berbano.
Businessman Larry Rubinos of Tagum City, who had a delayed flight yesterday, joins the action today with two entries powered by the Millionaire 5k lines of Dink Fair from Kentucky, USA.
Cockfight idol Patrick Antonio leads the Team Philippines today together with past WSC champs.
They are Biboy Enriquez, Nene Araneta, Ray Alexander of Alabama, Rey Briones, Dicky Lim, Joey Sy, Ed Aparri, Art de Castro, Boy Marzo, Frank Berin, Dante Eslabon, Escolin Brothers, Rikki Reyes, Magno Lim, Peping Ricafort, Boy de Roca, Honey Yu, Noel Jarin and Joey delos Santos with American partner Bruce Brown of California.
Also seeing action today: American Michael Mushbar, Doc Bel Almojera of Florida, lawyer Carlos Tumpalan, John Gutierrez, Ferdie Ducepec, Ronnel Pasia of Team Sagupaan, Mon Villanueva, Gengen Arayata, James Uy, Eddie Araneta, Jimmy Junsay, Jess Moradas and Doc Boy Tuazon.
Audiences, meanwhile, will get a treat when they visit the sponsors booths at the Green Gate lobby.
