Foreign participants score early in the WSC
Americans Belle Almojera of Florida and Michael Mashburn of California banner the top picks in Day 2 semi-finals of 2019 World Slasher Cup 9-cock Invitational Derby today, Feb. 1 at the iconic Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Almojera, runner-up in last year’s WSC 1 with 7.5 points, posted two remarkable victories, while Mashburn and his Filipino partner William Mamba tallied two hard-earned wins.
Aside from the quality fights, sabong aficionados get a chance to win a 32” LED TV in the daily raffle courtesy of sponsor Powertrac. So far, the Jan 29 winner from the audience at the Big Dome was Mr. Billy Salvador; the Jan 30 winner was Mr. Don Carlo Isaquirre.
