Over 70 entries to compete in WSC 1 semis day 1
A total of 74 entries move on the first day of the semifinals of this year’s World Slasher Cup 1 9-Cock Invitational Derby after surviving a tough two-cock elimination round last Friday night, January 27, at the historic Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Top fighters competing in Saturday’s three-cock semifinals are sabong legend Biboy Enriquez, Pol Estrellado, Ayong Lorenzo, Miggy Arayata, Jerry Celeste/ Raul Panizal, Ito Ynares/Patrick Mallare/R. Medina, John Seiner/Johnny Moore, Enrique Burgarin, Antonio/William, Edgardo Go/Dennis Lumpay, Albert Dechavez, M. Pua/ L. Participants who scored 1.5 points and 1 point in the elimination round will also move on to the semifinals.

The winners of the semi-finals will move on to the four-cock pre-finals on January 31 and grand finals on February 1 wherein a new World Slasher Cup champion will be crowned.
