Second leg of 2022 World Slasher Cup all set
The 2022 World Slasher Cup is all set for its second leg from May 31 to June 6 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Participants, sponsors, and select guests and media got together for a press conference at the Novotel Manila Araneta City on May 28 to kick off the latest edition of the much-awaited Olympics of Cockfighting.
The seven-day event will feature a two-cock elimination round on May 31 and June 1 before the three-cock semis fires off on June 2 and 3. The derby will take a two-day break before going on with the much-anticipated four-cock pre-finals and grand finals on June 6.
“We are excited to once again welcome cockfighting enthusiasts and our cockers and breeders from every corner of the globe for the second World Slasher Cup this year. We promise them an enjoyable time as they feel the excitement of world-class derby matches. This is an event that they won’t want to miss,” said WSC Derby Office head and Smart Araneta Coliseum’s pit manager Dong Lamoste, said.
The 2022 World Slasher Cup 2 is made possible by Thunderbird, Emperador Distillers, Petron Corporation, Pilipino Mirror, Southeastern Trading and Industrial Services, RMECS Technicon Incorporated, and Lucos Builders.
