WSC recognizes new champs for 2023 2nd edition
The winners of the 2023 World Slasher Cup 2 9-Cock Invitational Derby were recognized in an intimate awarding ceremony at the Novotel Manila Araneta City on June 5.
Pablito Gregore’s 22GF/Ormoc Joe entry and Joseph Panganiban’s Infiniti Gold 6-Cock Derby June 21 Manila Arena-2 shared the coveted WSC distinction after scoring 7.5 points at the end of the 6-day derby matches.
Each winner received a highly-coveted trophy plus items from Emperador Imperial.
The latest WSC champs were joined by Derby Office Head and Smart Araneta Coliseum’s pit manager Dong Lamoste, Uniprom Inc Chief Operating Officer Irene Jose, Binibining Pilipinas International 2023 Angelica Lopez, and Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2023 Anna Lakrini.
The latest edition of the Olympics of Cockfighting, held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on May 22 to 25 and May 29 to 30, witnessed exciting matches from 142 entries.
